Winner of the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
Beverly Frasier is determined to throw a perfect birthday party for her mother, but her sister can’t be bothered to help, her husband doesn’t seem to listen, her brother is M.I.A., her daughter is a teenager, and maybe nothing is what it seems in the first place! FAIRVIEW is a searing examination of families, drama, family dramas, and the insidiousness of racism in America.

“…dazzling and ruthless…a glorious, scary reminder of the unmatched power of live theater to rattle, roil and shake us wide awake.” - The New York Times

written and performed by Ithamar Enriquez
Tempe Center for the Arts Studio Theatre
May 26 - 28, 2023

ASU alum Ithamar Enriquez returns to his old stomping grounds for this very special engagement. After ASU, Ithamar found success with Chicago's SECOND CITY COMEDY TROUPE. He performed and wrote for both the mainstage and the etc stage. He has since moved to Los Angeles where he has found tremendous success in commercials, film, and TV. TV credits include - most recently - you may have seen him on THE CONNERS. You may also remember him as the commercial guy from WANDAVISION. He has also been featured in A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS, ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, KEY AND PEELE, and THE OFFICE. Film credits include LADY BIRD, POPSTAR, MASCOTS, and BEYOND THE LIGHTS. Stray Cat is BEYOND thrilled to welcome Ithamar back home to present his critically acclaimed one-man SILENT (as in he seriously has precisely zero words of spoken dialogue) tour-de-force ITHAMAR HAS NOTHING TO SAY. The show has received critical acclaim far and wide and has been featured at The Comedy Central Stage In Los Angeles and at comedy clubs and festivals around the country.
Performances will be one weekend only:
Friday, May 26 at 7:30pm
Saturday, May 27 at 2:00pm and 7:30pm
Sunday, May 28 at 2:00pm
Each performance will be followed by a post show discussion reuniting Ithamar and Stray Cat's head kitty Ron May. Engagement in improv games from them both not a promise but...never say never.

Tickets will be $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and $10 for students w/valid i.d.
